Happy One Year to The Be Well Be Wild Podcast: A Guide

I can’t believe it but the Be Well Be Wild podcast is one year old today!

Second, I learned so much during this past year and thought sharing these up & down might be useful to you. I had been thinking about podcasting long before I started. The day it launched, I felt like I was going to throw up because I was so nervous. I couldn’t remember what I even said in the episodes that were released that day. And, that made me feel exposed and present to all the uncontrollable. 

Just like I tell my clients, once we take that big step, our egos may go into overdrive. And mine definitely did. I lovingly call this part of myself, the monkey. This monkey is nit-picky, critical, loud, and fearful. It just wants to keep us on a predictable and familiar path.

And I can say this process has been one big “F you” to that monkey. If I let the monkey lead, I can honestly say, I would have stopped or maybe never even started.

It hasn’t been perfect, I missed recording some weeks. In other weeks I was ahead. Some weeks I struggled to come up with an episode, and others three flowed into my mind. The win is that I kept showing back up and re-engaging. 

The bigger win is the person I became because I kept showing up. 

And I’m not sure that would have been as easy to do without the support I’ve gotten from you all.
